Back on Track

First of all, let me start this post with a heartfelt greeting of Merry Christmas! Hope you guys had a grand time celebrating with family, friends, and loved ones.

I'm sorry to be gone for so long from the blogging community. As usual I've been so busy with work and school, and being so tamad to write in between that I haven't updated my blog for a month.

My job has been keeping me busy, what with working ten hours a day and six days a week, how will I ever find the energy to blog? Due to the holiday season, there's an unusual number of mail being processed by the post office, and so every employee is mandated to work their butts off... or else. Can't really complain, as to I'm getting paid a lot. In fact, I already have plans for my next paycheck. That is, go shopping, shopping, and shopping some more. So I guess all that overtime is worth it.

But they couldn't make me come to work on Christmas eve because heck, I just refuse to. Well, actually I was planning on going to work christmas eve but my nurse aunt said she'll get me a doctor's note so I called out. I don't want to miss another family event just because of gaddang work. I refuse to let work ruin the little social life that I have.

ANyway, speaking of christmas eve, I had a grand time. I did miss my cousins. I rarely see them because of my work schedule. My aunt organized games so we had loads of fun. My team was the super kulelat though. We didn't win any game... oh wait except for one, but I wasn't there when they played it so it doesn't count. There was a truckload of gifts for everyone. And when I say a truckload I am not exaggerating. That's what I love about christmas here. Instead of aguinaldos we get gifts. That's more like it. There was a lot of yummy food, though I didn't gorge myself, because I was wearing this kinda' tight sweater, and I don't want my tummy to balloon to large proportion. hehe

What else? Oh yeah, the semester's over and I'll be out of school for the next semester, because next year I'm going back to the Philippines! yey! tuloy na tuloy na ito! I'll be flying back home on feb 19 and going back here on march 12. so that's 3 weeks of fun, fun, fun! can't wait na!

anyway, i'll be posting pictures of the party on my next blog entry. Should've posted na now but I left my camera at my cousin's house.
